Horses of Warriors
Our program provides individuals an opportunity to form a secure bond with horses while spending time in a calming, positive and safe environment in nature.
Our holistic approach encourages a state of mindful presence, where both the participant and the horse become attuned to each others energy and breathing patterns. This shared experience creates a deep sense of connection and can help reduce stress and anxiety. Equine therapy can also help individuals with impulse control, self reflection, building confidence, and building trust.

Become a Volunteer
Volunteers help care for our Warrior horses. As a volunteer you learn how to care for a horse and are responsible for feeding, grooming, and various ranch duties. As a volunteer, you can learn new skills and have opportunities to advance and become a H.O.W. wrangler.
Wranglers teach horse care, riding lessons, and lead camps to our Veterans, First Responders and their families. We also offer these services to other select community groups.
